We remind you and ourselves to fast the day of Ashura, which will be this Tuesday, October 11, 2016 and fasting a day before or a day after. Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "For fasting the day of 'Ashura', I hope that Allah will accept it as expiation for the year that went before."

نذكركم وأنفسنا بصيام يوم العاشر من شهر المحرم والذي سيوافق يوم الثلاثاء 11 أكتوبر 2016 لما في ذلك من عظيم الأجر واستحباب صيام يوم قبله أو يوم بعده. سئل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم عن فضل صيامه فقال: «أحتسب على الله أن يكفر السنة التي قبله».

Starting this Sunday, October 9, 2016 the school will select the best boys and best girls classes lineup in the morning Assembly. Criteria for selecting the class includes: * On time arrival * Order and discipline * Participating during the Quraan and Doaa segment * Wearing the uniform for girls and wearing Hijab for grade 5 to 12 The morning Assembla program will be conducted by the school students. Based on parents requests, registration for Tilawa contest is reopened temporarily until Friday, October 14. To register please email info@raschool.ca the names of the students wishing to participate in the contest.
