We remind you and ourselves to fast the day of Ashura, which will be this Tuesday, October 11, 2016 and fasting a day before or a day after. Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "For fasting the day of 'Ashura', I hope that Allah will accept it as expiation for the year that went before."
